Leatherworking Tools Arrive in Romania!

Last update we mentioned Leathermaking Tools that we ordered for our Children’s Shelter in Romania, Islands 4 Kids. Well, they’re here!

Robert, the founder of the Children’s Shelter, has a lifetime of knowledge with construction, carpentry, woodworking, and other skills; leatherwork being just one of them. He is fortunate to have found a good source of leather near his village of Ostrov, where the Children’s Shelter operates. With this resource, we made the move to purchase and ship tools for his program.

With these tools, Robert will not only be able to teach kids but also produce a source of income to support the project. The tools will be used to instruct children and help them develop a skill that can start them off making money and supporting themselves. Plus, the finished pieces; keychains, wallets, belts, etc., will help support the program in the future.

Learn more about the project on the Islands 4 Kids page, and please consider making a donation – we are changing lives here and now!
